Letchworth’s Broadway Cinema will celebrate Black History Month for a second year with a season of films from black directors and artists from 8 – 30 October.

After a long 18 months, including two attempts at re-opening thwarted by restrictions last Autumn/Winter, Letchworth’s ‘Museum at One Garden City’ is finally open again.

Arch Landscaping, with Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, are pleased to announce their popular Gardening Masterclasses are back this autumn.

This half term, the whole family can join world-famous ‘animal wrangler’ Mark Amey for a bug safari and nature talk on Garden City Greenway in Letchworth.

Concerned about the long-term impact unemployment has on young people, Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation applied to take part in the government Kickstart Scheme.

We have awarded a £2,000 grant to a local charity, Red Kite, to help them expand their resources in Letchworth and online.

The Kings Community Church food hub on the Jackmans Estate has relocated to a new cabin on the church site. ‘King’s Cabin’ will replace the existing church hall as a food distribution point.

The grants committee held a meeting in July 2021 to discuss and reflect on what has been done to support the community.

The team at Broadway Gallery are relaunching their free Saturday Family Arts Workshops for artists under 10 years old with the Junkyard Sculpture workshop from Saturday 14 August.
