The Board of Trustees is our main decision making body.
Governors serve on our Board and are appointed by the Governors. Their term of office is 4 years as a Trustee and at the end of that term they can seek re-election for one final term of 4 years as prescribed in our Rules and Regulations.
Two of the places on our Board are permanently reserved for the nominees of North Hertfordshire Council and Hertfordshire County Council. These two positions are appointed annually.
Our Board elects our Chairman and Vice-Chair from its own number as prescribed in the Rules and Regulations.
In carrying out their role, Trustees adhere to a range of policies including confidentiality and conflicts of interest, and they follow the standards set out in the Trustee Code of Conduct. Please note that sensitive personal data for Trustees is not publicly shared but is held and managed internally to ensure compliance with our policies including Data Protection.
