Herts Vision Loss (HVL), previously known as the Hertfordshire Society for the Blind, has been an essential support system for visually impaired individuals (VIPs) in Hertfordshire since its inception in 1915. HVL remains dedicated to its mission of empowering VIPs to lead happy, functional, and fulfilling lives. This case study explores the impact of HVL’s initiatives, particularly the 'Visionary Bonds' project, supported by a Community Grant from the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation.
