The board of trustees, governors and leadership team of the Heritage Foundation were pleased to welcome so many Letchworth residents to the annual Garden City Meeting on 21st June 2023.  The event took place at Broadway Hotel and was attended by well over 100 residents and representatives of local organisations.

The popular Letchworth Festival returns in June 2023 with a wonderfully varied programme of events that celebrate Letchworth’s culture and community. The festival team are now busily working with local musicians and artists, clubs, societies and businesses to deliver an exciting Letchworth Festival programme for 2023.

On Friday 24th March Sir Oliver Heald MP for North East Hertfordshire officially reopened the Ernest Gardiner Centre in Letchworth Garden City.

Changes in operation at Broadway Cinema and Theatre in the light of changing customer patterns - including development of alternative boutique offer and a new website.

Over £1 million is being invested into Letchworth's Standalone Farm

An election held in September 2022 has returned four new governors to serve on the board of the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation.

Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation have announced a £35,000 grant fund for community groups, charities, and clubs to help with rising costs.

A new community transport pilot scheme will launch in September, providing a low-cost minibus service for members of the community that may otherwise not be able to access activities and groups throughout Letchworth.

We have recently welcomed local charity Green Care at Norton to open a new allotment space at Standalone Farm where they provide a safe space for participants to learn new skills and make new friends.
