The team at Museum @ One Garden City are bringing activities for kids under ten to Howard Park Gardens on Thursday 26 August.
With many of us staying at home this summer, activities to keep the kids happy without breaking the bank is a must! Local artist and Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation Cultural Learning Assistant, Mollie Mclellan, will be bringing activities and fun to this event in Letchworth. This free family session will start at the Sappho statue at 10am in Howard Park Gardens on Thursday 26 and finish at the International Garden Cities Exhibition at 11am.
The Museum @ One Garden City will also be available to families to drop in for activities ahead of the school year starting on September 1.
Josh Tidy, Curator at Garden City Collection said “We are honoured to be able to bring so much to so many families. Expect games, fun with art and find out a little more about your town. If you’re not able to make the activities on the 26 August, visit the Museum @ One Garden City on September 1 for a free fun history drop-in session.”
Parents and guardians are to supervise children at all Family Sessions. For more information, follow the Garden City Collection on Facebook and Instagram.
