Standalone Farm’s picnic barn offers the perfect setting for your private event, set on a small Farm just outside of Letchworth town center it offers a lovely indoor rustic space for your guests to enjoy. We also have parking onsite and all events include security.

Hire A Field!
Standalone Farm sits on acres of land, which offers the perfect opportunity for organisers to use our fields for large scale corporate/ private events.
Hire Includes:
Use of field or both fields during the agreed hire dates/ times
£1,000.00 per field per day +VAT
Important information
- These fields can only be hired during dry months between June and August & the weather must be dry for the event to go ahead.
- All events are a dry hire, all other requirements are up to organisers to arrange.
- For large scale public events, one field must be used as a car park
- We require PLI, signed T&C’s and a signed contract for events, these will be made up based on your event requirements.
Birthday Parties!

Birthday Party Hire Includes:
- Access to the Farm for the day
- Private use of the Party barn with Wi-Fi for the allotted time slot
10:30am - 1pm (including 30 minutes to set up)
2pm - 4:30pm (including 30 minutes to set up) - One free adult for every paying child
- A staff member to show you around the Farm
- Party bag per paying child
- Animal feed per paying child
- Children’s buffet
Cost
£22.95 per child (reduced to £21.95 for annual passholders)
Minimum 10 children
Maximum 20 children

About Standalone Farm
We are owned and run by the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, this unique financial model means that the money from those who rent our houses, shops, offices and industrial units goes directly back into the town. This includes our grants programme, which in 2022 allocated £196,000 to supporting community groups, clubs and societies as well as individuals who are striving to ‘Be the Best’ at music, sport, art and much more.
But that's not all, this income also supports the Foundation’s other venues and services including the us as the Broadway Cinema & Theatre, Broadway Gallery and the Garden City Greenway (13.6 mile route around the Garden City).
So by hiring our venue you'd actually be giving back to the local community too.
