Heritage Foundation is a unique place-based foundation with a vision to make the world’s first Garden City a great place for everyone to live, work and visit, so I believe Heritage Foundation is the best local platform for me to contribute our time and skills to support initiatives that promote community engagement, education, and well-being.
Based on my education background and past working experience, I am deeply passionate about technology innovation and excited to see how the technology innovation can improve our community, Such as Smart City technology, it can use sensors and data analytics to optimize our city infrastructure, improve public services and energy saving, I am confident that I can contribute to provide valuable opinions of technology innovation for any project of Heritage Foundation.
Over the past twenty years, I worked at a German and a US Companies to develop their Asian Market including China, I am familiar with multi-cultural environment, I understand the most of Asian culture, and some of their languages, like Traditional Chinese (Cantonese) and simplified Chinese (Mandarin). I am confident that my multi-cultural communication skill and my passion for community involvement will enable me to make a meaningful contribution to local community.
last two years, I have been involved in various community projects, such as the founder and chairman of Hong Kong Connect, participating in organising EAL & Culture class for Hong Kong people in Letchworth, the Hong Kong Movies Sharing, and gathering or party, we make it easier for Hong Kong people to settle here and feel at home.
