A night of cinema under the stars is coming to Broadway Gardens for the fourth consecutive year with a screening of Oscar-winning film La La Land.
The film, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, will be screened on Saturday 19 August shortly after 8:30pm as the sun sets.
Jason Valentine, Venues Manager for Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation said: “We’re excited to be able to bring the beautifully shot La La Land back to Letchworth after it proved such a success both critically and in its original cinema run at the Broadway.
“We hope to see a huge turnout for a great night of cinema in the wonderful setting of Broadway Gardens.”
La La Land follows the story of two aspiring L.A hopefuls, a musician and an actress, as they pursue the careers of their dreams. The film won six awards at this year’s Oscars, including best cinematography, best director and best actress in a leading role.
The film is rated 12A, meaning that children under 12 must be accompanied throughout the performance by an adult over the age of 18. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic, however no glass should be brought to the screenings and guests are also asked to take their waste home with them.
Tickets are available now and are priced at £8.40 for adults and £7.20 for children, students and seniors. Family tickets (4 people, max 2 adults) are also available for £30. To ensure audience safety, numbers are strictly limited to 800 people.
