The Foundation’s new Chief Executive, Graham Fisher, takes up his post today (3 April 2017), following nine years as CEO at the anti-poverty and social reform charity Toynbee Hall.
Speaking about his new role, Graham said: “I’m very much looking forward to getting to know staff, trustees and governors and the wider community over the coming months. It will take me a bit of time to speak to as many people as possible. Listening to their thoughts on the work we do and on Letchworth life more generally will help me develop a deeper understanding of our priorities and objectives for the future.”
Previously Graham was Chief Executive of MLA London, the strategic regional development agency for museums, libraries and archives. In this role he initiated heritage-led basic skills programmes, tourism development, creative industries and capacity building programmes and also led work on the role of museums and archives in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Graham’s appointment was announced in January.
