Broadway Theatre is inviting local children aged 10-16 to audition for a part in the junior chorus of The Wind in the Willows Christmas theatre production, which will be staged from 10 to 15 December 2019.
This rare opportunity will see junior chorus members immersed in the mischievous and adventurous antics of Mole, Badger, Mr Toad and Ratty and join the professional cast of this brand-new theatrical production of Kenneth Grahame’s much-loved classic riverbank tale.
Kevin Parker, Creative Programmer for Broadway Theatre said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Mole, Badger, Mr Toad and Ratty to Letchworth in December and we’re thrilled to be involving local children in The Wind in the Willows’ junior chorus. This promises to be a wonderful winter family show with tales of misadventure and rousing singalongs.”
If your child enjoys dancing, acting and singing and would like to get involved, the auditions take place on Saturday 29 June between 10am and 12.30pm at Broadway Theatre. Children must be between the ages of 10 and 16 years before Sunday 1 September 2019 to take part.
Kevin added: “No previous performance experience is necessary just a passion for the theatre. This will be a truly amazing opportunity to join a professional cast live on stage.”
If your child would like to attend the auditions, please visit Broadway Theatre website and complete the audition application form by Friday 28 June.
