Broadway Theatre will host this year’s Herts Jazz Festival on 5-7 October 2018, bringing some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians to the town.
Following significant investment in live entertainment facilities, Broadway Theatre has quickly established itself as a leading arts venue in the region. This will be the first time the festival has been held outside Welwyn Garden City, its home for past seven years
Clark Tracey, Festival Director said: “We are really pleased to be able to move the festival to Letchworth this year. As well as some fantastic music in a great, newly refurbished theatre, festival-goers will be able to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the town – the first Garden City in the world and a centre of the arts and crafts movement.”
Beth Dawes, Marketing Manager, Broadway Theatre, commented: “The Herts Jazz Festival has a fantastic reputation and we’re delighted to welcome them to the Broadway Theatre this year. It is a great opportunity for local people to come and see some live jazz performances and we hope all the town’s businesses will benefit from the additional visitors.”
