Hitchin singer/songwriter Alex Francis is returning to his North Hertfordshire roots to play at the Broadway Theatre in Letchworth Garden City on 6 July.
This one-night-only performance is part of his UK tour following the release of his EP in April, which features a mix of original rock and soul tracks.
The musician has gained critical acclaim following a successful collaboration on Melanie C’s recent single, Hold On, and as the supporting artist on her UK and European tour.
Speaking ahead of his performance, Alex said: “I’m thrilled to be returning to Letchworth on 6 July - it’s right next door to my home town Hitchin so it’ll be an extra special night seeing so many familiar faces! I’m bringing my whole band along for the show and we’ve got Tom Braggins supporting. It’s going to be a great night.”
A former Hitchin Boys’ School pupil, Alex won the support of TimeOut Magazine’s Rising Stars Artist Programme last year, which promotes the work of upcoming artists.
