We recently awarded Up on Downs £300 to help fund their Christmas Party.
This fantastic charity exists to improve the conditions for children and young people with Down’s Syndrome and their families in Hertfordshire. The team of part-time staff and volunteers provide advice and support to families from diagnosis and beyond, with regular social events, training for parents and professionals, speech therapy groups, early development groups and day trips.
The Christmas party was held in Letchworth in early December and was the group’s biggest event of the year. This was an opportunity for families to enjoy an inclusive Christmas activity with other families who share their experience.
