Letchworth Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal: Now until Wednesday, December 5. The Salvation Army needs your help to make Christmas special for children, families and others who have little or nothing under the tree on Christmas morning. All new, unwrapped toys and gifts are welcome and will be distributed in your community in time for Christmas. Please leave your gifts at either: Sainsbury’s, Third Avenue, The Tourist Information Centre, Station Road, Morrisons or The Salvation Army Charity Shop, Leys Avenue. Give a gift and light up a life. Aladdin - Letchworth’s Pantomime: Now until December 24 the box office for SPADS annual pantomime will be open at the Tourist Information Centre, 33-35 Station Road. Monday to Saturday between 9.30am to 4.30pm, tickets can also be bought online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/spads. Performances are from 27th to 30th December at 1pm and 5pm. Eduardo Paolozzi – General Dynamic F.U.N.: On now until Sunday, January 13. An exhibition of prints by the pioneer of pop art. Sir Eduardo Paolozzi (1924–2005) was one of the pioneers of the pop art movement in the UK. Born in Scotland, Paolozzi was a compulsive collector and a jumbler of icons.
