Open Door Coffee Morning: Today, Thursday. Coffee morning with free refreshments at the Letchworth Free Church, Leys Avenue. At 10:30am.

Show Stopper! – The Improvised Musical: Today, Thursday. Direct from London’s West End with an Olivier Award to their name, this is an improvised musical comedy, with a different show made up on the spot, based on audience suggestions. The Showstoppers are an acclaimed improvisation group and have been a ‘must-see’ Edinburgh Fringe Festival staple for eleven years. At Broadway Theatre, Eastcheap. Starts 7.30pm. Feel Good Friday: Friday, October 11. A day of fun activities for older people. With yoga, seated cricket, shared memories, technical guidance, nutrition advice, singalong, and an entertainer. A free event which includes a buffet lunch. Come for the whole day or just drop in whenever it suits you. Everyone welcome. At Tabor Court, Beech Hill. From 10am - 3pm. Walk and Talk: Friday, October 11. A gentle, flat walk around historical places of interest in the town. Meet at the Library, Broadway. At 10.30am. Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Introduction to Sound Healing: Saturday, October 12. Introduction to Sound Healing for Mindful Listening and Well-being with Pam Mullet and Jurek Dabtowski of Sound and Silence Resonant Healing. Tai Chi – The Magic of Movement: Sunday, October 13. Tai Chi practitioners often describe the feeling of moving their bodies as magical, and the experience of long term Tai Chi practice can certainly be described as transformational – Ian Deavin’s  workshop will introduce beginners to the simple ideas underlying this popular but little understood art. Family Arts Studio – Creepy Creatures: Sunday, October 13. Join artist Chantelle Stephenson for a hands-on craft activity in the Studio. At Broadway Studio and Gallery, 2 The Arcade. EFT for Eating Disorders: Sunday October 13. A two-day workshop (second workshop Sunday, November 10) with Tanya Lovett Advanced EFT Practitioner. EFT has been shown to have a profound, positive effect on the suffering of people with an eating disorder. This workshop, whose size is limited to 6, offers a safe space to explore and release many aspects of your eating disorder. At The Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living, Hitchin Road. The Very Hungry Caterpillar: Sunday, October 13. The timeless classic has made its way off the page and onto the stage. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, the critically acclaimed production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show features a menagerie of 75 lovable puppets, faithfully adapting four of Eric Carle’s stories, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, 10 Little Rubber Ducks, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course, the star of the show celebrating its 50th Birthday in 2019, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Gauguin from the National Gallery: Tuesday, October 15 and Wednesday 16. Event featuring one of the world’s most popular and important artists, Paul Gauguin. a 60-minute documentary about his life and work plus a 30-minute exclusive private view of the forthcoming National Gallery exhibition ‘Gauguin Portraits’. The screening on the 15th October at 7.15pm will feature a Q&A following the film with Broadway Creative Programmer Kevin Parker and Broadway Studio & Gallery Curator Kristian Day. A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Thursday, October 17.
