Klimt/Schiele Course: Saturday, January 12. Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele were the two major figurative and landscape painters of the Secession movement in late 19th to early 20th century Vienna. Both artists were renowned for their evocative depictions of women; Klimt as a symbolist and Schiele as an expressionist. To coincide with the Royal Academy exhibition of their drawings this day course will explore their lives, times and works. At Letchworth Settlement, 229 Nevells Road. Times 10:30am – 3:30pm. Eduardo Paolozzi – General Dynamic F.U.N.: On now until Sunday, January 13. An exhibition of prints by the pioneer of pop art. Sir Eduardo Paolozzi (1924–2005) was one of the pioneers of the pop art movement in the UK. Born in Scotland, Paolozzi was a compulsive collector and a jumbler of icons.
