To support our community the best way we can, it is vital that we understand the specific social, cultural, and economic needs of our Garden City. To do this we need to gather information and carry out research. 

We take an evidence-based approach to our work as a Foundation, looking at areas of need to inform our actions. We use a wide range of sources of information, including government statistics and in-house research, to cover the diverse range of activities we undertake.

Where possible, we try to make our data open and accessible so that other organisations can better understand the make-up and needs of Letchworth Garden City's communities.
